The past week we were busy with Token 2049 in Singapore. Everyone was out and it was great to re-connect with so many people. People were very excited with the all the recent developments with Bluzelle and it’s whole ecosystem. In addition to the product updates below, we’re happy to announce we’ve begun contacting all Private Beta testers for GAMMA 4. They will be getting their hands on the game very soon.
Bluzelle
- Added CDN to www.bluzelle.com and bluzelle.com websites. Currently under maintenance but will be up shortly
- IPFS processes for upgrades and forks has been developed to ensure that pinned items survive through such updates
- Adding ability to add a new node to an existing network. We can add new instances of Ping Pub or Big Dipper or even Sentries, on the fly. No fork needed.
- Testing ability to do updates, to eliminate the need to do a fork. Updates happen via a governance proposal for an upgrade, which we have successfully completed in a local environment.
- Finished tests and analysis on IPFS pinning determinism, to determine how quickly do files actually get propagated on IPFS, and found that IPFS is not very predictable. This is critical for the developer community so they can properly pin files and ensure the files are properly pinned before proceeding with any associated assumptions.
